About Us

Topgear was founded in 1984 by as a small car accessory shop in Bridport. It was started on a Government backed enterprise allowance scheme of £40 per week. During the 1980s the company grew and opened depots in Yeovil and Weymouth which have since been sold. Topgear is now a nationwide company and employs over 40 people. With strong Internet based sales the company is set for further expansion in the future. Some of the newer depots that are soon to be opened will be franchises.
